It’s that time of year…..we have loads of Engagements and Weddings coming up but I thought I’d share a layout from Macca’s Wedding in November 2009 using Sweet Nothings Simply Scrappin’ kit:
And here’s another one using Bella Rose DSP (although you could use any DSP or scraps for this layout – maybe even use a different base shape!)

SO I have been flat chat in the second half of 2009 and look forward to new things in 2010. One thing I want do do more of is scrapping and making cards for myself and use up all my supplies! So I thought I’d kick off 2010 with a challenge from Stampamemory (http://clairedaly.typepad.com/stampamemory/). Miriam challenged us to create a Christmas layout and I’ve done 2! Both using the ‘I Wish’ Simply Scrappin’ Kit:

Just updating you on the next SCRAPPERS KIT.
I’ve changed my thoughts on this a little and will run it slightly differently this time around – part of the class will be online and part of it will be at my house!!
Book in now as I only have limited space! (Only 12 places available so get in quick)
This is how it will work :
1. Purchase the kit as usual – you will get everything you need in the kit to complete 12 LAYOUTS!! You will need your own basic tools and alphabets to finish pages.
2. Choose a session to come to my house and create all the handmade embellishments for your pages (and pick up your kit).
3. Take home your kit, access your email with instructions for the layouts and complete the layouts in your own time!
The theme/s for the layouts will cover a wide variety to cover the 12 months of the year including – Christmas, Birthday, Boy/Girl, Summer, Kids, etc. Each month will use different colours and stamps to emphasise the theme.
This kit will cost $125 – yes – that’s a BARGAIN for 12 layouts and a FREE class, plus all the class notes!! Plus, you get the use of all my punches, stamps and inks!!
Finish off the pages in your own time with your printable instructions!

FRIDAY 10th July – 7.30pm – 9.30pm

Yes I haven’t posted for ages – dues to a few reasons! Mainly that my pc has been playing up and in the end it was creating so much trouble I got rid of it and now I’m on a laptop. With the recent Bush Fires in Victoria many people have felt like they wanted to do something to help – I know I tried many avenues to volunteer and various other means to help. While I have done practical things like donate money, given blood and put my name on the volunteer list, I still felt like this wasn’t doing enough. Espeically with the money going to the Red Cross – which is a fantasic cause – but I wanted to do something a little more personal. So below I have outlined ways in which YOU can support me in donating funds to an individual family from Kinglake West who have lost everything. By passing on this information to others you know, near and far, I’m sure we can raise some much needed funds for this family.
1. RAFFLE
With the help of Stampin’ Up! donating a whole box of goodies, and adding a few extras from my personal supplies, I have put together 3 HUGE prizes!! Each prize includes card and scrappin’ kits, stamps, papers, embellishments, and much, much more. I would estimate each of the 3 prizes to be well over $200 in value!
Tickets are priced at $1 each – you can buy tickets direct from me or put together a collection at your workplace, or with family and friends and let me me know how much you’ve raised and you will receive 1 ticket for every dollar you raise! I won’t physically send you tickets but will write them out here and place them in a hat to be drawn.
The raffle will be drawn on Friday, April 17th.
2. Creative Card Night/Day
Come along to my place (Mill Park, Melbourne), for a fun night of chatting and creating! I will be donating all products for the class where you will make 3 different card projects, learn some new techniques and join in with some games with special prizes! You just need to bring along a cutting mat, adhesives and scissors.
Cost: $20 (all proceeds are donated)
Dates/Times: I am offering 2 different sessions but the seats are limited as I can only fit so many in!!
*FRIDAY 3rd April 7 – 10pm
*TUESDAY 7th April 1 – 4pm
(If there are not enough places I will make an extra date)
3. ONLINE CLASS
If you can’t make it to a class how about joining in with an online class? You’ll receive a kit full of supplies for you to use (and keep to re-use again), and instructions for 2 scrapbooking pages PLUS a double page layout, and 3 cards! Your kit will include a stamp set, inks, cardstock and papers to complete all projects 🙂

I’ve been running online classes for several months and they have been a HUGE hit – busy people that love scrapbooking but live far away or just can’t make it to a workshop or class.

The first class notes include instructions for six 12″ x 12″ scrapbook layouts (using SU products only) with examples for both a girl/boy option (with photos).
The kits contents that the customers purchase through you include Simply Scrappin’ kit of choice, Baroque Motifs stamp set, Basic Gray ink pad and a share of embellishments from either the Pretties Kit or Hodgepodge Hardware (a full list of kits supplies will be part of the instructions). *You could easily alternate stamp sets/scrappin kits/embellishments to suit your needs.
